     Edwin James Essex Parker was born on 6 December 1923 at Castledawson, Co Derry, Northern Ireland.1 He was the son of William Thomas Parker and Mabel Jane Williams.1 He married Sarah Jane Jordan on 16 August 1950 at Moira, Co Down, Northern Ireland.1 He was a general practioner (FRCGP).2 He died on 23 January 2003 at Moira, Co Down, at age 79.1 He was buried at St John`s Parish Church, Moira, Co Down, Northern Ireland.1
