     Gerald Charles Murray Deacon was born on 3 February 1919 at Rathmullan, Co Down, Northern Ireland.1 He married Audrey Joan Elizabeth Parker, daughter of William Thomas Parker and Mabel Jane Williams, on 3 September 1952 at Holy Trinity Church of Ireland, Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.1 He died on 24 October 2009 at age 90.2 He was cremated and his ashes were interred at the family plot, Rathmullan, Co Down, Northern Ireland.2
