     1 Douglas Cooper was born on 15 April 1899 at Vernon, British Columbia.2,3 He was the son of Thomas Cooper and Sarah Rolston.4 He married Alice Wilmot Johnson on 9 August 1920 at Vancouver, British Columbia.4 He died on 17 September 1961 at New Westminster, British Columbia, at age 62.3

A story about the Thomas Cooper family appeared in Bunch Grass to Barbed Wire, a local history of the Kamloops, BC area, published in 1984.5
