     Annie Laura Clement was born on 26 July 1881 at Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of John George Clement and Melissa Adell Smith.1 She married James Edward Salmon on 5 August 1902 at Sault Ste. Marie, Algoma District, Ontario. (notes: The marriage was performed in Sault Ste. Marie on August 5, 1902. Theimage for both halves of the registration is complete, but the usual mechanical numerical stamp for the registration number has not been applied. The form seems otherwise complete.
James Edward Salmon, age 20, bachelor, machinist, residing Soo, born Woodstock, parents Charles and Eva Salmon.
Annie Laura Clement, age 21, spinster, residing Soo, born Troy, parents John G. and Melissa Clement.
Witnesses: John G. and Melissa Clement, both of Sault. The minister was a G. Faircloth.).1

The handwriting of the township clerk is difficult, but Annie's second name appears to be Laurie.1
