Annie Armelia Elliott was born on 27 June 1904 at Dungannon, Huron County, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of Thomas A. Elliott and Alberta 'Ethel' Smith.1 She married John Harvey Bell on 17 May 1922 at Goderich, Ontario. (notes: Marriage reg. 012191-22 Goderich, Huron Co. John Harvey Bell, age 24, bachelor, laborer, Presbyterian, born and residing Goderich. Parents James Bell (born Goderich) and Jean Drannan (?). Annie Elliott, 18, spinster, Church of England, born Dungannon, Ontario, residing Goderich. Parents Thomas Elliott and Alberta Smith. Witnesses, Duneda Bell, Goderich, and Alfred McFarlane, residence illeg. Clergyman R.C. McDermid, Presbyterian, Goderich. On 17 May 1922 at Goderich.).1 A Delayed Statement of Birth was filed by Annie A. Morgan at Goderich on 30 October 1964. She gave her name as Annie Armelia Elliott, d/o Thomas Elliott and Ethel Smith. She places the birth for both her parents in Huron County.

It is believed that Alberta was known as Ethel.

Since Annie was first married to John Harvey Bell, and by 1964 her name was Morgan, it would appear that she married twice.1
