     Susannah Hall was born on 30 March 1840 at Co Armagh, Ireland.1 She was the daughter of David Hall and Susannah Brown.1 She married John Hammond, son of John Hammond and Ann Smith, on 19 May 1864 at Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario. (notes: Page 133 of the Wentworth County Marriage Register shows, at the bottom of the page, some marriages by Rev. William Cope of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The marriage was evidently performed in Beverly Township. The date of the marriage is May 19, 1864. John Hammond, age 27, residing Beverly, born Ireland, parents Daniel and Ann, married Susannah Hall, residing Beverly, born Ireland, parents David and Susannah. Only one witness is shown, James Scoggy (more usually spelled Scroggie) of Beverly.).1 She died on 22 January 1916 at St. George, South Dumfries Twp, Brant County, Ontario, at age 75.1 She was buried at St. George Cemetery, South Dumfries Twp, Brant County, Ontario.1 Death reg. 080607 South Dumfries, Brant Co. Susannah Hammond, age 75 yrs., 9 mos., 23 dys., died Jan 22nd, 1916. She was born in the County of Armagh, Ireland and died in St. George. She was a widow. Her parents are shown as David Hall and Susannah Brown. She was buried in the St. George Cemetery. The informant was Annie Rosebrugh of St. George, Ont.
