|Note||According to the Troy History printed in 1947, John Coleman Misener, named after his maternal grandfather, was known as Cole Misener. Cole Misener taught school, partenered with John Neff as a storekeeper, and was postmaster at Weir, in Ancaster Township. In the 1891 census taken at Beverly it says that he is a farmer, though the word is nearly illegible.|
