| Note | He Birth reg. 038616-80 Town of Dundas, Wentworth Co. 22 Feb 1880, William John Bond, s/o James Arrindale Bond, laborer, and Amelia Skoyles. Informant John Skoyles, laborer, Dundas. The registration of William John Bond appears on the same Dundas birth registration page as his first cousin, Frederick Dennis. We know from a border crossing to the U.S. made by William Bond in 1922 that his son Gilbert was still living on Degrassi Street in Toronto. In 1945, William again crossed the border destined for Saddle River, New Jersey, where he had apparently been living since 1941. In the 1945 document he is shown as a widower. It is not presently known if he married a for a second time. |
