|Note||Terissa, or Theresa, or Trissa, or Terrisa, has a different spelling given in almost every record of her to be found. It may be that something like Terissa is closest to it.|
She is with her husband in Guelph at the time of the 1881 census when he, with her brother in law George Bookless, were proprietors of the Royal Hotel. By 1891, Thomas and Theresa are in Toronto. With them are daughter Leah and son Harry. Also with them is Carrie Vrooman, daughter of Theresa's brother George.
To date, they have not been found again in Canadian records, but Trissa shows up in Richmond, New York City, in the 1900 census, living with her daughter Leah and son in law James Kerr. She has only just arrived in the U.S. that year. In the 1910 census her husband Thomas is with the family as well.
In the 1910 census the family was in Queens, New York City. That is the last record found for the family to date.
