     Byron W. Smith was born in May 1863 at Canada.1 He was the son of Jonathon Smith and Margaret Buckberrough.1 He married Artna (--?--).1 Byron is at New Haven, Michigan, in the 1900 census. Interestingly, his father Jonathan and youngest brother, Henry W. Smith are with him. Son Fred appears in the 1910 census. Byron and his wife are with their son Fred at Flushing, Michigan, in the 1930 census at Flushing, Michigan. Fred is a file clerk.
Byron and Artna went to the U.S. in 1892 and his father and brother in 1899.1
