Jacob Stover died August 11, 1896, farmer, age 80. Born Ontario. Baptist. Informant Peter Stover, Mt. Brydges PO.

The 1851 census (taken in January of 1852) places Jacob and family in South Dorchester Township, Elgin County. The agricultural census for the same year shows Jacob on the north half of lot 4 in the 7th concession of this township. He is shown as holding 100 acres.
