Alex's birth date is inscribed on his stone, but not his date of death. His birth year of 1858 as shown on the stone is likely correct. ForEliza Nettie, his wife, her date as shown on her stone is likely incorrect. Her year of death as shown on her death registration agrees more closely with her two appearances in the 1861 census.
Alexander's parents were Walter Misener and Deborah Jane Sager. They were married in Beverly in 1858 and appear in the 1861 and 1881 censuses at Beverly. Alexander is still with his parents in 1881. Alex showshis place of birth as Beverly on his marriage registration.
