It's interesting how records get crossed up along the way. In the marriage record book for Ainslie Street Methodist Church, later Wesley Church, the name of the first witness is poorly written. Minor Teetzel is a good transcription based on the record in the United Church Archives. The other witness in the record at the Archives is shown as Lilly Leutwein! This latter is likely correct.

A family story tells that Jane's brother, Emerson Snyder, took in some of Jane's children after her death. Along with a brother Emerson, Jane had a sister Mary Emma Snyder. She went by Emma and married William Himes of Galt. They had a son that they named Emerson who died in the Second World War. Will Himes' sister Lavinia married Alven Coleman, a first cousin of Harry Coleman.
