     Amelia Lawrason was born in 1827.1 She was the daughter of John Lawrason and Amelia Simons.1 She married John Wesley Moe, son of Henry Moe and Teressa M. (John W. Moe would have been born at St. George, Ontario, in DumfriesTownship, later South Dumfries. He was 24 at the timeof his marriage.At this point, I don't know why he would have been residing in Beverly, only a few miles away. His father was dead some eight years and hismother was remarried to Samuel Wait. They were living on a farm in the St. George area until at least 1851. In the 1851 census at South Dumfries, John Wesley Moe was living with his mother and Samuel. This was around the time of Amelia's death.)).1
She died on 1 October 1851.1 Amelia Lawrason's parents were John Purvis Lawrason and Amelia Simons. John Purvis Lawrason married a second time to Hannah Kitchen. Amelia was a first cousin of Sophia Augusta Lawrason, her husband's secondwife. John Wesley Moe was second cousin to them both.1
