The bride's mother's name was Sabrina Caroline.

The witnesses are almost certainly brother and sister and cousins to both Sydney Lawrason and to Phoebe Coleman. John and Mary Ann are grandchildren of Ann Lawrason and Elisha Babcock. They are in the Shaw household in Townsend Twp., Norfolk Co., in 1871. Their mother is shown as Ellinor, wife of Hiram Shaw. She had first been married to Samuel Doud and then to Hiram Shaw.
 
DeathHe died on 24 May 1931 at 197 Dalhousie St., Brantford, Ontario, at age 83. 
BurialHe was buried on 26 May 1931 at St. George Cemetery. 
NoteJohn P. Lawrason (1822 - 1868) married Sarah D. Crane (1827 - 1900) and they had a son Sydney Lawrason who married Phoebe Coleman; Thomas Lawrason and Charity Deneen were the parents of John P. Lawrason; Thomas's parents were Miller Lawrason and Elizabeth Purvis.

(John P. Lawrason's marriage appears in the Gore District Marriage Book as follows: Marriages by Rev'd Samuel Fenton, Congregational Minister (p.62): John P. Lawreson, of Beverly, to Sarah Crane, of Glanford. 21 Jan. 1846, by Licence. Rev. Fenton. Wit. Joseph Bates and Hester French. The marriage appears to have been performed in Glanford.)

The Sydney Lawrason who married Phoebe Coleman was second cousin of the Sidney Coleman who married Melissa Coleman, Phoebe's sister.

Sydney's death registration number is 009157-31.

Sydney married a second time to a widow by the name of Lottie Winegarten, nee Smith. She was the daughter of William Smith and an unknown Bennett. This was on the 18th of February 1918 in Brantford. Lottie was also a cousin of Phoebe Coleman.

Sources of information regarding the year of Sidney's birth conflict. The 1861 census at Beverly suggest that 1848 is closer to correct.
