This describes Edward's early travels, including a sojourn in Norfolk County where, evidently, he met and married Eunice Culver. She is said to be the daughter of Captain and Elizabeth Culver. Their children are named and dates of birth for the children are provided. This includes son Alfred and his date of birth is shown as July 24, 1823. This agrees with Alfred's date of birth as shown on his gravestone in the cemetery at St. George. Such information as we have for the children of Edward and Eunice begins with the Brant History list.
