The 1881 census page showing the Cairns family in the 1881 census in Beverly is so faded as to appear unreadable. The LDS Family History researchers made a transcription and it is likely correct.
The family is shown as Free Methodist; John Cairns is shown as a farmer, born in Scotland, and Jane Cairns is shown as born in Ireland. The children were born in Ontario.
