Myrtle Mildred Church was born on 29 September 1881 at East Flamboro Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of George Church and Harriet Cummins.1 She married Henry Anderson in 1900 at Hamilton, Ontario. (notes: We have an incomplete marriage registration for Myrtle and Henry. They were apparently married in Hamilton, were both resident in Hamilton. She is said to have been born in Flamboro and he in Rockton, thoughthe writing isn't clear on this point. The clerk's transcription has problems, for their parents were given as John Anderson and Mary Jane Burgess, and Geo. Church and Harriet 'Clemens'. Henry's trade is that of butcher.).1 Birth reg. 038219-82 29 September 1881 Myrtle Mildred Church, d/o George Church, blacksmith, East Flamboro, and Harriet Cummins.

In the 1901 census at Hamilton, she gives her birth as 15 May 1881 and Henry's as 23 November 1877.

At the time of the 1911 census, The family is in Saltfleet Township in Wentworth County. It appears that they only had one child, Floyd, for so he is called, and he is with them. Also with them is George Church, shown as father-in-law to Henry Anderson. Of course, he is Myrtle's father. His age is given as 60, he is shown as born in England, andhe is shown as coming to Canada in 1860. The enumerator shows him as married, but he wife does not appear with him. This may be an enumerator's error.1
