     Laura Van Every was born in June 1909.1 She was the daughter of Allan Van Every and Ludelle Lucinda Lawrason.1 She died on 28 March 1982 at Toronto, York County, Ontario, at age 72.1 She was buried on 1 April 1982 at St. George Cemetery, South Dumfries Twp, Brant County, Ontario.1 The dates for Laura are from her gravestone in St. George Cemetery. Laura's Aunt Cassie died in 1963 and Laura is mentioned as a surviving niece: Miss Laura Van Every of Toronto. A Toronto City Directory from 1971 says that Laura worked for the YWCA.

The date of Laura's death is from her obituary in the March 30, 1982,issue of the Brantford Expositor.

Laura led an active life. She was a member of the I.O.D.E, she had been a member of the board of directors for the Family Service Bureau, and National Employment Supvervisor of the Womens' Division of Canada Manpower. She was also personnel secretary of the National Council of the Y.W.C.A.1
