Thedora Moe was born on 8 July 1864.1 She was the daughter of Henry Moe and Sarah (--?--).1 She married Lewis Densmore Westover on 29 May 1884 at Centreville, Malahide Twp, Elgin County, Ontario.1 She died on 2 November 1948 at Buffalo, New York, at age 84.1 She was buried at Calton Cemetery, Bayham Twp, Elgin County, Ontario.1 2686-84 Dinsmore WESTOVER, 25, farmer, Malahide, same, s/o George & Clarissa, married Dora MOE, 20, Bayham, Malahide, d/o Henry & Sarah, witn: Mrs. C. W. FOLLICK & Mrs. George KILMER, both of Centreville, 29 May 1884 at Centreville.

Dora seems to have favored her abbreviated name. Both the 1871 and 1881 censuses give her proper name as Thedora.

Dora Moe is the name given for the bride in the above marriage registration. The informality of given names on some of the registrations isstriking.

Dora's death is in an index for the November 11, 1948 issue of the Aylmer Express. It appears that she was married twice.

In the Aylmer Express issue of October 6, 1941, page 7 appears the following:

Samuel H. Westover and Dora appear in the 1930 U.S. census taken at Woodward Valley Precinct, Washington State.1
