When George and Margaret were married in St. Catharines in 1903, George gave his residence as Brandon, Manitoba. The couple is there at the time of the 1906 census and Margaret's brother, Archibald Black, is with them.

By 1916, George and Margaret are in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. George is shown as having a bookstore.

They have not been found thereafter.
