The name Arminius is correct, or at least approximately so. His name appears as such in the 1871 census at Thorold. The Wesleyan Methodist Baptisms show his name in full as Arminius Metney Theal. County marriage registrations do not usually show the place of marriage. It may have been at the home of the bride or in the Town of Thorold. |
