     Letty Misener was born on 26 November 1872 at Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of Nicholas Misener and Aramintha Richter Miller Aker.1 She married Samuel Johnston on 31 August 1893 at Watford, Lambton County, Ontario. (notes: 006068-93 Watford, Lambton Co. August 31, 1893, Samuel Johnston, 23, bachelor, farmer, residing Brooke, born Nissouri, parents Robert Johnston and Rebecca Armstrong. Lettie Misner, 21, spinster, residing Watford, born Troy. Parents Nicholas Misner and Armintha Akin. Witnesses: Dillon Coristine and Florence Misener, Watford. The groom was Anglican and the bride Methodist. The clergyman was A.G. Harris.).1 She died in 1952.1 She was buried at Alvinston Cemetery, Brooke Twp, Lambton County, Ontario.1 Birthdates for the family and the names of the children are taken from (and as of) the 1901 census taken at Brooke, Lambton East, D-5, Page 1.

There is a conflict with the birthdates given in the 1901 census and the year as it appears on the cemetery transcription for Letty, Garnetand Jeneva. Also, Letty's name appears as Letta on the cemetery transcription.1
