     Maud Templar was born on 10 May 1879 at Iona, Dunwich Twp, Elgin County, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of Peter Templar and Emma Church.1 She married John A. Graydon on 18 September 1907 at Brantford, Brant County, Ontario. (notes: 005425-07 Brantford, Brant Co. John A. Graydon, age 28, bachelor, moulder, residence Brantford, born Norfolk Co. Parents Samuel Graydon and Maggie Chester. Sarah M. Templer, age 28, spinster, residing Brantford, born Elgin County. Parents Peter Templer and Emma Church. The Bride and groom were Methodists. Witnesses: E. Laird and Ellen Laird, both of Brantford. Clergyman: J.R. Patterson. On 18 September 1907 at Brantford.).1 She died on 12 December 1915 at Brantford, Brant County, Ontario, at age 36.1 According to the 1901 census, Maud is said to be a dressmaker. A birth registration for her has not been found. She appears in the 1881 census in Dunwich as Sarah and in the 1901 census as Maud. Her marriage registration shows her as Sarah M. and her death registration as Maud.

Maud and John are in Brantford at the time of the 1911 census without evidence of children. There is a report of a son born to them in 1912, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Death reg. 007995-15 Brantford, Brant Co. Maud Graydon, age 36, died 12 December 1915. Place of death 75 Mary St. in Brantford. Born Iona, Co. Elgin. Parents Peter Templer and Emma Church.1
