James Blackburn

     James Blackburn was born in 1817 at Canada.¹ He married Sabrina Moe, daughter of Henry Moe and Teressa M. Coleman, in 1840.¹ James appears in the Eberts Ward, Chatham, Ontario 1868 assessment roll as a grocer. The property is owned by Jason C. Grant Agents. It is located at the corner of King and William. This is the only reference that I find of him as a grocer. There are some other references to a James Blackburg, but they are obscure.¹
