     Thomas John Doyle was born on 17 January 1873 at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1,2 He was the son of Michael Doyle and Elizabeth Mary Dunn.1 He was baptized on 9 February 1873 at St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 He married first Mary Ann Carty, daughter of Owen Carty and Catherine Jordan, on 11 February 1901 at Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.3 He was left a widower when Mary Ann Carty died on 11 June 1902.4 He married second Ann Elizabeth Burtch, daughter of Charles Albert Burtch and Sarah Elizabeth Rankin, on 16 August 1909 at South Crosby Twp, Ontario.5 He died on 23 October 1956 at Kingston, Frontenac County, Ontario, at age 83.2,6 He was buried at St Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.2,6
