     Alexander Hamilton was born on 13 May 1841 at Ireland.2,3,4 He was the son of John Hamilton and Rose McCarney.1 He immigrated to Ontario with his parents John Hamilton and Rose McCarney in 1847.5 He married first Mary Ann Dunn, daughter of Michael Dunn and Margaret Jordan, on 11 January 1874 at St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.6 He married second Rosanna McNamee, daughter of Patrick McNamee and Rosanna Johnston, on 7 November 1892 at St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.7 He died on 21 January 1927 at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario, at age 85.8,9 He was buried on 24 January 1927 at Philipsville Catholic Cemetery, Philipsville, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.10,8,9
