     Jane Hamilton was born about 1834 at Ardclinis, Co Antrim, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of John Hamilton and Rose McCarney.1 She immigrated to Ontario with her parents John Hamilton and Rose McCarney in 1847.3 She married Patrick Jordan, son of Andrew Jordan and Elizabeth Nolan, on 27 October 1855 at St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.4,5 She died on 12 September 1912 at North Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.6 She was buried at St Edward's Cemetery, Bedford Twp, Frontenac County, Ontario.7
