     Mary Hamilton was born about 1832 at Ardclinis, Co Antrim, Ireland.3 She was the daughter of John Hamilton and Rose McCarney.1,2,3 She immigrated to Ontario with her parents John Hamilton and Rose McCarney.4 She married John Regan, son of Bernard Regan and Bridget Jordan, on 19 July 1856 at St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1,5 She died on 9 March 1888 of insanity at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.2,6,7 She was buried at Philipsville Catholic Cemetery, Philipsville, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.6
