     Rose Hamilton was born about 1844 at Ardclinis, Co Antrim, Ireland.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of John Hamilton and Rose McCarney.4,5 She immigrated to Ontario with her parents John Hamilton and Rose McCarney in 1847.6 She was named as an heir in her father's (John Hamilton's) will dated 21 July 1866 at Newboro, Leeds County, Canada.7 She married Patrick Bready on 6 September 1869 at St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.5,4,8
