     James Jordan was born about 1828 at Ballindaggan, Templeshanbo, Co Wexford, Ireland.1,2 He was the son of Michael Jordan and Mary Farrell.1,2 He immigrated to South Crosby Twp, Leeds County, Ontario, with his parents Michael Jordan and Mary Farrell between 1845 and 1847.3,4

Research Note: I have assumed that Michael Jordan and his children, with the exception of Esther, were born in Ballindaggin, Co Wexford because his daughter Margaret's tombstone says "native of Ballindaggin, County Wexford, Ireland."1
