     Catherine Jordan was born about 1843 at Ballindaggan, Templeshanbo, Co Wexford, Ireland.3,4,5 She was the daughter of Michael Jordan and Mary Farrell.1,2 She immigrated to South Crosby Twp, Leeds County, Ontario, with her parents Michael Jordan and Mary Farrell between 1845 and 1847.6,7 She married Owen Carty, son of Henry Carty and Mary Horace or Moran, on 1 January 1867 at St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.4,8,2 She died on 4 July 1891 at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.9 She was buried at Philipsville Catholic Cemetery, Philipsville, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.

Research Note: I have assumed that Michael Jordan and his children, with the exception of Esther, were born in Ballindaggin, Co Wexford because his daughter Margaret's tombstone says "native of Ballindaggin, County Wexford, Ireland."3
