     Mary Ann Carty was born on 6 January 1874 at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1,2 She was the daughter of Owen Carty and Catherine Jordan.1 She married Thomas John Doyle, son of Michael Doyle and Elizabeth Mary Dunn, on 11 February 1901 at Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 She died on 11 June 1902 of consumption at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario, at age 28. She had been married for only 16 months.3
