     Margaret Jane Hamilton was the daughter of Alexander Hamilton and Mary Ann Dunn.1 She was born on 12 September 1877 at Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 She was baptized on 14 October 1877 at St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 She married William James Murphy on 9 September 1919 at Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.2,1 She died on 24 November 1926 of tuberculosis and anaemia at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kingston, Frontenac County, Ontario.3,4,5 She was buried at St Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.4
