     John Dunn Hamilton was born on 29 July 1881 at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.3,2 He was the son of Alexander Hamilton and Mary Ann Dunn.2 He was baptized on 14 August 1881 at St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.2 He married Margaret A Scanlan, daughter of Terence Joseph Scanlan and Julia Lynch, on 26 January 1914 at St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1,2 He died in 1954.4,5 He was buried at St Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.5
