He was born on 24 January 1872 at Bedford Twp, Frontenac County, Ontario.2 He was the son of John Hamilton and Maria Quigley.1 He married Catherine Cawley on 14 June 1899 at St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.3,4 He died on 6 November 1932 of cardio-vascular renal degneration at Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario, at age 60.2 He was buried on 9 November 1932 at Bedford Twp, Frontenac County, Ontario.2
