      William Henry Carty was born on 14 October 1898 at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1,2 He was the son of Henry Joseph Carty and Elizabeth Dunn.1,2 He was baptized on 26 November 1898 at St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 William Henry Carty became Fr. Bill Carty and served throughout the Kingston Diocese. At the time of his death he was pastor of St. Peter's in Trenton, Ontario.3 He died in 1961.3
