Mary Elizabeth Doyle
      Mary Elizabeth Doyle was known as Girl because she was the only girl in a family of 9 boys. She was born on 4 March 1901 at New Westminster, British Columbia. Her birth registration says her birth year is 1903; however, it was not filed until 1926. Since her brother Dominic's birthdate is October 1902, and Mary appears on the 1901 census, she could not have been born in March 1903.2,4,3 She was the daughter of James Joseph Doyle and Mary Ann Hamilton.1,2,3 She was a Nurse (R.N.) between 1923 and 1943.5,4 She lived at Suite 102 414 Royal Ave, New Westminster, British Columbia, in 1953.5 She was never married.5 She died on 26 August 1953 of carcinomatosis at St Mary's Hospital, New Westminster, British Columbia, at age 52.4 She was buried on 28 August 1953 at St Peter's Cemetery, New Westminster, British Columbia.5
