     George Dominic Murphy was born about 1892 at Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 He was the son of Peter Murphy and Hannah Jordan.1 He married Kathleen Freeman, daughter of Michael Freeman and Margaret Dunn, on 11 February 1925 at Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1
