     Eleanor Fitzgerald was known as Ellen. She was born on 16 February 1849 at Ontario.1 She was the daughter of James Fitzgerald and Eleanor McLoughlin.2 She married Charles Hamilton, son of John Hamilton and Rose McCarney, on 6 February 1876 at St Philip Neri Church, Toledo, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.3 She and Charles Hamilton lived at parts of lots 17, 18 & 19 Con 1, South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario. The value of this land at his death was $7000.4 She was left a widow when Charles Hamilton died on 1 October 1913.5,4,6 She died on 13 September 1935 of hypostatic pneumonia at South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario, at age 86.7,8 She was buried on 16 September 1935 at St Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.7,8
