Research Note: The Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid12 says Elizabeth Doyle, wife of Michael, is buried in the Catholic Cemetery at Philipsville, Ontario. Gertrude Phelan13 also says she is buried in Philipsville with a white marker on her grave. In May 2000 I was unable to locate a tombstone there for her. (flw).

Research Note: Elizabeth Dunn Doyle's death certificate says her mother's maiden name was Sarah O'Neil. Elizabeth's marriage record says her mother's maiden name was Sarah Keating. I have assumed the marriage record is correct. flw.2,1
