He married Ellen May Chiswell on 28 June 1905 at Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.3 He died on 30 January 1921 of encephalitis at Hamilton, Ontario, at age 41.4,5 He was buried on 2 February 1921 at Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, Wentworth County, Ontario.5Census Records
