James Aldon Misener was born on 11 April 1893 at Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1,2 He was the son of Fred Misener and Edna Elizabeth Jones.1 James served with the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles (Quebec Regiment) during World War I. He enlisted in Feb 1916. He died on 30 October 1917 at Paschendaele, Belgium, at age 24.1 He was buried at Tyne Cot Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium.3
