Eunice Bishop1

     Eunice Bishop was born in October 1843 at Ancaster Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of John and Mary Bishop.2 She married Leonard Dodge, son of Leonard Pulsepher Dodge and Mary Coleman, on 27 December 1864 at Ancaster Twp, Ontario.2 She died on 19 August 1904 at Jerseyville, Ancaster Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario, at age 60.1 She was buried at Wildwood Cemetery, Chesaning, Saginaw County, Michigan.1

Eunice was killed, apparently at a railroad crossing, when her vehicle was hit by a train. Her sister, Mrs. Thomas Knox of Lynden, Ontario, was also killed. Apparently Eunice was in the vicinity of Jerseyville visiting family. Here is some additional background on the death of Eunice Bishop Dodge.1
