      James William Jones was born in 1834 at Lot 11 Con 3, Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario. He was the son of James Jones and Hannah Goodale.1,2 He married Minerva Jane Mulholland, daughter of John Mulholland and Rachel Shaver, in 1854. He died on 7 June 1899 at Hamilton, Wentworth County, Ontario.1,2,3 He was buried at Troy Cemetery, Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.3
