Peter W. Jones was born on 15 January 1839 at Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 He was the son of Peter Jones and Esther Decker.1 He married first Alice N. Howell on 21 December 1871.1 He married second Elizabeth Solemn Arnall Rawnsley on 18 September 1883 at Toronto, Ontario.1 He died on 29 March 1905 at Oil City, Lambton County, Ontario, at age 66.1 He was buried at Dunboyne Cemetery, Malahide Twp, Elgin County, Ontario.1
