Ursula Clapp1

     Ursula Clapp was born on 2 September 1758 at Dutchess County, New York.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Clapp and Mercy Carpenter. She was baptized at St George's Church, Hempstead, Nassau County, New York. She married Samson Striker, son of John Stryker and Sarah Crooker, in 1784 at Dutchess County, New York.1,2 She died on 13 February 1813 at Athol, Hallowell Twp, Prince Edward County, Ontario, at age 54.1,2
