Ruth Striker was born about 1794.2 She was the daughter of Samson Striker and Ursula Clapp.1 She married Joseph Palmer before 1821.3,4 In 1821 Ruth petitioned for a grant of 200 acres of land as the daughter of Loyalist Sampson Striker.4
