Margaret or Margery Hoar was born about 1613 at Gloucester, England. She was the daughter of Charles Hoar and Joanna Hincksman. She married John Matthewe on 25 December 1633 at St Nicholas Church, Gloucester, England.1 She died on 10 March 1686/87 at Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.1
