Amanda Missouri Harp was born on 22 December 1852 at Ohio.1,2 She married Douglas Samuel Gibson, son of Cornelius W Gibson and Sarah Elizabeth Clapp, on 31 July 1870 at Jackson County, Iowa.3 She died on 8 July 1904 at age 51.2 She was buried at Mt Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Jackson County, Iowa.2
